Lisa is the owner of Lisa Schenkman Interiors, a residential interior design firm. Prior to her interior design career Lisa worked in the retail and apparel manufacturing industry, specializing in importing and product development. Lisa has a BS from the University of Missouri.

Lisa has served on the Latin School of Chicago Alumni Board, and currently is on The Board of Directors of Metropolitan Family Services. Lisa is also a board member, and past president of The Comer Development Board. She has additionally served as the Co-Chair of their inaugural capital campaign for the Comer Development Board.
