Carl is the Global Head of Visa’s consulting and analytics group. A native of Chicago, he has spent his career in financial services, previously serving as the President of The Kessler Group and a Senior Partner at BCG. He did, however, flirt briefly with the dot.com world when, as part of a BCG assignment in 2000, he served as the first CEO of Orbitz, an online travel company funded by the five major U.S. airlines.

Carl serves on the board of trustees of the Kohl Children’s Museum (chair Development Committee, member of Executive and Nominating Committees) and is a member of both the Economic Club of Chicago and The Chicago Club.

He holds an MBA, with highest honors, in analytical finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BS in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
