Dr. Becker received a Young Investigator Award from the Cancer Research Foundation in 2014 to fund work in obesity associated breast cancer. He is currently the Assistant Professor, at the Ben May Department for Cancer Research, University of Chicago.
Dr. Becker’s research interests include using proteomics and bioinformatics to investigate the roles of macrophages in atherosclerosis, diabetes, obesity, and sleep disruption in an integrated manner. He is also the Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer, rMark Bio, Inc.
